C30L
Self-Operated Flow Control Valve
Design Features
The C30L is a self-actuated flow control valve. It holds a set flow rate using nothing but the energy already in the line — no power supply, no instrument air, no controller, no actuator mounted on top. The valve contains both the sensing element and the adjusting mechanism: the sensing element reads the flow, the mechanism moves the trim, and the opening adjusts until the flow matches the set value again. When supply pressure rises or a neighboring branch changes, the flow through this valve stays where it was set.
